NTT English Teacher Job in Ahemdabad, Gujarat
About This Role
As a seasoned educator, we seek an experienced NTT English Teacher to join our team at a premium school in Ahmedabad, Ahemdabad, Gujarat. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the English department and delivering high-quality instruction to students in grades 6-12.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for English classes
- Provide one-on-one coaching to students preparing for board exams
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum assessments
- Develop and maintain resources for English language learning
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences and communicate student progress
- Participate in department meetings to discuss curriculum and teaching strategies
- Lead extracurricular activities, such as debates and quizzes, to promote English language skills
- Conduct observation and feedback sessions with junior teachers
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed degree from a recognized university
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a full-time English teacher at a State Board of Gujarat school
- D.El.Ed or equivalent degree
- CTET or TET certification (not mandatory but preferred)
