Podar International School invites applications for a PGT Fine Arts Teacher to join its dynamic academic team in Ahmedabad. Responsibilities
Teach Fine Arts subjects at the senior secondary level, covering painting, sculpture, graphic design, and digital art. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that encourage critical thinking and artistic skills. Guide students in school art exhibitions, competitions, and cultural events, ensuring they participate actively. Collaborate with the art department to maintain high standards of creativity, craftsmanship, and student development. Prepare and maintain well-organized lesson plans, student portfolios, and assessment materials. Act as a mentor to students, providing constructive feedback on their work and artistic growth.
Requirements
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a post-graduate qualification in Fine Arts or a related discipline. Minimum three years of teaching experience in Fine Arts at the secondary or senior secondary level. Strong command over subject concepts, including modern and traditional artistic techniques. Ability to create visually appealing and age-appropriate teaching materials. Good communication skills to explain concepts clearly and engage students effectively. Familiarity with school policies on curriculum planning and assessment is beneficial.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 55,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
