PGT Political Science Teacher Position at Adani Vidya Mandir in Ahmedabad
Adani Vidya Mandir in Ahmedabad seeks a dedicated PGT Political Science Teacher to inspire and guide students with a deep understanding of governance, international relations, and contemporary political theories. This role requires someone passionate about shaping young minds through engaging classroom discussions and real-world applications of political concepts. The responsibilities include:
1. Designing and delivering engaging lesson plans aligned with the Gujarat State Board curriculum for Political Science.
2. Conducting interactive sessions on topics like Indian Constitution, comparative politics, and global political systems.
3. Assessing students through practical exams, case studies, and group discussions to reinforce learning.
4. Collaborating with the faculty to integrate political science concepts into interdisciplinary projects.
5. Maintaining a student-centered approach by encouraging critical thinking and debate on current political issues.
6. Preparing and updating teaching resources, including PowerPoint presentations and supplementary materials.
7. Participating in school events to promote political awareness among students.
8. Ensuring compliance with Adani Vidya Mandir’s academic policies and ethical standards.
A postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Experience in teaching Political Science at the senior secondary level is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time position with a competitive salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month in Ahmedabad.
