4. Organize monthly inter-house competitions such as kabaddi, kho-kho, and athletics.
5. Prepare students for CBSE sports and games competitions at district and state levels.
6. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all physical activities and sports sessions.
7. Collaborate with other subject teachers for co-curricular and sports day preparations.
8. Conduct fitness assessments and track student progress in physical development.
9. Report student participation, behavior, and performance to the school coordinator regularly.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with specialization in physical education.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Fluency in English and Gujarati for effective communication.
- Ability to teach CBSE-aligned physical education curriculum.
Good to Have
- Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with physical education specialization.
- TET/CTET certification in Physical Education.
- Experience in organizing school-level sports tournaments.
- Knowledge of yoga and traditional Indian games for school programs.
- First Aid certification for handling minor sports injuries.
