About This Role

Your Students
You will be working with students from Classes 6 to 8, preparing them for the State Board of Gujarat examinations. Your students will be from diverse backgrounds, and it is essential that you can cater to their individual needs and learning styles.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and deliver lessons to students from Classes 6 to 8, covering the State Board of Gujarat curriculum in Mathematics.
- Use a range of teaching methods to engage students and promote learning, including group work, presentations, and hands-on activities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their understanding of Mathematics.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying learning abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience for all students.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians through progress reports and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's Mathematics curriculum.
Who Can Apply
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a postgraduate qualification in Mathematics (M.Sc) or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. You will also need to have a strong understanding of the State Board of Gujarat curriculum in Mathematics and be able to teach students from Classes 6 to 8. Experience of teaching Mathematics in a school setting is essential.
