Job Description
St. Marys School in Dahod, Gujarat is hiring a TGT Science Teacher for a full‑time position. The role involves delivering the Science curriculum to classes IX and X and fostering a curiosity‑driven classroom environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Science lessons in line with the state syllabus and school guidelines. Assess student performance through tests, projects and practical work, providing timely feedback. Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe lab environment for experiments. Participate in co‑curricular activities, science fairs and parent‑teacher meetings.
Requirements
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary level. Must hold a post‑graduate degree along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong command of English and Hindi, and proficiency in using digital teaching tools. Ability to inspire students and collaborate with fellow teachers.
Salary
Rs.17,000 - Rs.32,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
Work Conditions
Full‑time posting at the Dahod campus with a standard school timetable. The role includes occasional after‑school duties such as lab supervision and extracurricular coordination. Opportunities for professional development and participation in workshops are provided.
