3. Organize indoor and outdoor play sessions where Hindi vocabulary is used naturally during games and movement.
4. Prepare monthly Hindi rhyme charts, flashcards and small picture books for classroom use.
5. Conduct daily circle time in Hindi with greetings, songs and simple conversations.
6. Assist children in writing basic Hindi strokes and simple words using sand trays, slates or notebooks.
7. Keep parents informed about Hindi learning progress through weekly notes or WhatsApp updates.
8. Participate in school festivals and events where Hindi songs or recitations are part of the program.
9. Maintain a clean, colorful and child-safe Hindi learning corner in the classroom.
Eligibility
Must Have
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (NTT/D.El.Ed) from a recognized institute
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching Hindi to nursery or kindergarten children
- Working knowledge of Hindi reading, writing and spoken skills at Class 10 level
- Ability to sing Hindi rhymes and recite short poems clearly
- Fluency in basic classroom Hindi and ability to explain words through gestures and pictures
Good to Have
- Certificate in TET/CTET or equivalent early childhood qualification
- Experience in a Gujarati-medium or bilingual school environment
- Knowledge of simple assessment methods for pre-writing and pre-reading skills
- Exposure to Montessori or play-way methods in early years
- Familiarity with digital rhyme videos or educational Hindi apps for children
Preferred Skills
- Creative storyteller with ability to dramatize simple Hindi stories
- Patient listener who can encourage shy children to speak Hindi in class
