Role Summary
The PRT Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from grade 6 to 12. The teacher will create and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide individualized support to students who require extra help.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver Mathematics lessons to students from grade 6 to 12
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide individualized support to those who require extra help
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure that students receive the support they need
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and new teaching methodologies
- Attend staff meetings and participate in school events
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and attendance
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field, and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree. A Certificate of Eligibility for TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
