Job Description
English Language Instruction in a High-Performing School
Teach English as a second language to students in grades 6 to 10, focusing on foundational literacy, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum while ensuring students grasp core concepts through interactive methods. Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to those needing extra help.
Deliver structured lessons in a classroom setting, using age-appropriate materials and teaching aids to maintain student engagement. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate English content across subjects where relevant, ensuring cohesive learning experiences. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance to support academic tracking.
Ensure all teaching activities comply with the school’s policies and adhere to the National Curriculum Framework for English. Act as a point of reference for parents regarding English-related queries, offering clear explanations of progress and areas for improvement.
Hold a graduate degree with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in English or a related subject. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory. Prior experience in a similar school environment in Kachchh or Gujarat is preferred.
This full-time position offers a monthly salary of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 40,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The role is based in Mundra, Kachchh, Gujarat, within the Adani Vidya Mandir educational ecosystem.
