Maintain organized teaching resources, including textbooks, slides, and supplementary materials, to support effective instruction.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with the subject coordinator to ensure alignment with the school’s curriculum and assessment frameworks. Participate in regular faculty meetings to discuss teaching strategies, curriculum updates, and student performance trends. Assess students through continuous evaluation, including quizzes, projects, and practical assignments, to measure comprehension and application of business concepts. Collaborate with other PGTs and teachers to create interdisciplinary projects that integrate Business Studies with other subjects.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct workshops or training sessions for students to develop skills like financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and decision-making. Attend departmental reviews and curriculum planning sessions to refine teaching methods and assess the effectiveness of existing programs. Prepare annual reports on student performance, attendance, and subject-specific achievements for institutional review.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for teaching at this level. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior teaching experience in Business Studies or related subjects is highly valued. Two years of relevant teaching experience in a school setting is required.
Salary and Location
