Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Gujarati lessons for primary and secondary levels, ensuring alignment with the state curriculum and school objectives.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross-curricular projects, enhancing language skills through arts, science, and social studies.
- Participate in curriculum development workshops and teacher training sessions to stay current with pedagogical best practices.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson logs, and student progress reports in the school’s database.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, respect, and cultural awareness.
- Mentor junior staff and interns, sharing strategies for effective classroom management and instructional delivery.
- Engage in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and community outreach to promote the Gujarati language and culture.
- Support the implementation of the school’s inclusive education policies, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
- Utilize technology tools such as interactive whiteboards, educational apps, and online platforms to enhance learning experiences.
- Participate in the school’s annual review process, contributing insights on student performance and curriculum impact.
Qualification and experience
Graduation in any discipline is required; B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in a school setting is essential. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should possess strong communication skills in Gujarati and English, and a proven track record of creating engaging, student-centered lessons.
Salary and location
The position offers a competitive salary of Rs.17,000 – Rs.30,000 per month. The role is based at Floreat Wings International School in Morbi, Gujarat, providing a full-time teaching opportunity within a supportive educational environment.
