NTT Environmental Studies (EVS) Teacher Position at Shannen School, Halol
Shannen School in Halol, Panchmahal, is looking for an experienced NTT Environmental Studies (EVS) Teacher to join their team. This role focuses on shaping young minds through hands-on learning about nature, sustainability, and ecological awareness. You’ll design engaging lessons, lead field trips, and integrate real-world environmental science into daily curriculum.
Your day-to-day work will include planning interactive EVS activities, guiding students through experiments, and fostering curiosity about ecosystems. Since EVS bridges science, geography, and social studies, you’ll collaborate with other teachers to ensure cohesive learning experiences. Fieldwork, project-based learning, and outdoor education will be key parts of your responsibilities.
For this role, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, along with a graduate degree in a relevant field. While TET/CTET certification isn’t required, it would be an asset. Two years of teaching experience—preferably in EVS or environmental education—will be highly valued. Your ability to make complex topics accessible and inspire students to care for the planet is essential.
