Role Introduction
Mothers International School | Upelta seeks a PRT English Teacher to join its Upleta, Rajkot campus. The position is full‑time and requires a graduate with at least two years of teaching experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English lessons to classes in the Primary/Secondary/High School streams, following the state curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment materials that promote critical thinking and effective communication.
- Conduct classroom assessments, maintain attendance records, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events to support a collaborative learning environment.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide literacy initiatives.
- Mentor and support student clubs and extracurricular activities related to English language arts.
- Maintain a tidy and resource‑rich classroom environment that encourages student participation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in an English medium school.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification preferred; TET/CTET not mandatory.
