You’ll create interactive experiments and demonstrations to make learning hands-on and exciting for students. Classroom management will include monitoring student progress, addressing individual learning needs, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. Collaborate with the science faculty to develop innovative teaching methods and integrate modern educational tools. Prepare and maintain lesson plans that balance theory with practical applications. Assess student understanding through quizzes, projects, and assessments while providing constructive feedback. Attend school events and participate in extracurricular science activities to encourage student participation. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during lab work and experiments. Represent the school at parent-teacher meetings and community engagement events related to science education.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a science-related subject, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. The role offers a competitive salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000 per month, along with full-time employment in the vibrant academic setting of Dholakiya International School in Gondal, Rajkot.
