About This Role
The NTT Hindi Teacher will join Delhi Public School Surat to nurture young learners in Chorasi through engaging Hindi language activities. Your classroom will shape the foundation of language skills for students aged 3 to 6, preparing them for lifelong learning.
Your Students
The student community in Surat brings diverse linguistic backgrounds to the classroom. Many children in Chorasi speak Gujarati or English at home, making your role in introducing Hindi vocabulary and phonetics essential. You will build confidence in spoken Hindi while developing listening and basic writing skills.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and conduct daily Hindi language sessions using songs, stories, and rhymes tailored for nursery and kindergarten levels. Prepare visual aids, flashcards, and simple worksheets to reinforce learning in an interactive way.
Organize circle time activities where students practice greetings, counting, and simple sentences in Hindi. Encourage peer learning through group recitations and role-playing exercises.
Assess each child’s progress through observation and record anecdotal notes for parents during PTMs. Collaborate with the NTT team to align Hindi activities with the school’s early literacy goals.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Hindi as one of the teaching subjects. Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Hindi to young learners in a school environment.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with NTT curriculum frameworks for early childhood education. Ability to create age-appropriate Hindi learning materials using local examples from Surat and Gujarat.
