Ethical Public School | Surat invites a dedicated Physical Education teacher to enrich the athletic and wellness programs of our students. The role focuses on fostering a culture of healthy living and sportsmanship across all grades.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging physical education lessons aligned with the school curriculum and national standards.
- Plan and supervise indoor and outdoor sports activities, ensuring safety protocols and proper equipment usage.
- Organise inter‑school competitions, annual sports meets and seasonal tournaments, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Monitor student progress, maintain attendance records, and prepare performance reports for parents and school administration.
- Collaborate with co‑ordinators and other teachers to integrate physical wellness into academic and co‑curriculum projects.
- Maintain and inventory sports equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and replacement of worn items.
- Conduct health and fitness workshops for students, teachers and parents on nutrition, injury prevention and first aid.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions and school board discussions to enhance the physical education program.
- Enforce discipline, conduct codes and school policies during all physical activities, safeguarding student well‑being.
- Encourage inclusive participation, adapting activities for students with diverse physical abilities.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on program outcomes, resource needs and student achievements to the principal.
Qualification, experience, salary, location
Post‑graduate degree in Physical Education or related field, B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. required; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the PGT level. Full‑time position based in Surat City, Surat, Gujarat. Salary ranges from Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
