PRT Dance Teacher Position at Gyanmanjari Vidyapeeth, Surat
Gyanmanjari Vidyapeeth in Surat is seeking a dedicated PRT (Pupil Teacher) Dance Teacher to join its vibrant arts program. This full-time role focuses on nurturing students’ creativity and discipline through structured dance classes, blending traditional and contemporary styles. - Teaching a variety of dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or contemporary styles to students in grades 1 to 12.
- Creating age-appropriate lesson plans that align with school curriculum goals while fostering creativity and cultural appreciation.
- Conducting regular assessments to evaluate students’ progress in dance technique, rhythm, and performance skills.
- Collaborating with the arts department to integrate dance activities into broader school events and extracurricular programs.
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel encouraged and respected.
- Participating in school functions, including cultural fests, where dance performances may be required.
- Keeping records of student attendance, progress, and participation in dance-related activities.
- Staying updated on new dance teaching methods and educational trends to enhance classroom instruction.
