Participation in school‑wide initiatives such as eco‑clubs, science fairs, and community outreach programs is expected. The teacher will also mentor new staff members, sharing best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
The position requires active involvement in extracurricular activities, including organising field trips to local nature reserves, wildlife sanctuaries, and industrial sites that illustrate environmental impact. These outings are designed to complement classroom learning and deepen students’ real‑world connections to the subject matter.
Qualification and experience
Applicants must hold a graduate degree and possess at least one year of teaching experience. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, while TET or CTET certification is preferred but not compulsory. Candidates should demonstrate a strong grasp of Environmental Science concepts and a passion for imparting knowledge to young learners. Proven ability to create interactive lessons, manage diverse classrooms, and collaborate with colleagues will be highly valued.
Salary and location
