Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
Develop and update teaching materials, ensuring they reflect current historical research and pedagogical best practices.
Mentor and guide students in preparing for competitive exams and college entrance tests related to history.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross-curricular projects and school events that promote historical awareness.
Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans, and student performance reports.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school committees as required.
Encourage a classroom environment that respects diverse perspectives and promotes respectful debate.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in History or a related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching positions; CTET or TET preferred.
Strong command of English and Gujarati to facilitate instruction and communication.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level.
Experience with curriculum design and assessment in history subjects is advantageous.
Salary and Employment Type
Full‑time employment with a competitive salary ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
