PGT Physics Teacher Position at Shannen The World School | Gotri in Vadodara
Shannen The World School | Gotri in Vadodara seeks a dedicated PGT Physics Teacher to inspire and guide students through the dynamic field of physics. Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons tailored to different grade levels, ensuring clarity and relevance to real-world applications. Prepare and maintain well-organized lesson plans, including interactive demonstrations and practical experiments to enhance understanding. Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate physics concepts across various subjects and academic activities.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and assess unit-based projects and experiments to reinforce classroom learning, encouraging hands-on exploration. Participate in curriculum reviews and updates to align teaching methods with evolving educational standards. Assist in organizing science fairs, competitions, and extracurricular events to promote physics-related interests. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and participation in academic activities.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend faculty meetings and departmental discussions to share teaching strategies and best practices. Conduct periodic parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with school policies on safety protocols during lab-based activities and experiments.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment are essential.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.37,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in Vadodara, Gujarat. The role is full-time and based at Shannen The World School | Gotri.
