About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT Science Teacher to join our team at Ssv School 1 Parivar Char Rasta. As a PGT Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of scientists and thinkers. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the development of our Science curriculum.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Design and deliver engaging lessons for classes 6-12, aligned with the Science curriculum.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement innovative Science projects that promote hands-on learning and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective interdisciplinary projects.
- Prepare and administer Science examinations, quizzes, and other assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of our Science curriculum.
- Support the school's Science Olympiad teams and other extracurricular activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Post-graduate degree in Science (B.Sc + M.Sc or M.Sc + B.Ed) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching positions.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to promoting academic excellence and personal growth in students.
