PGT Zoology Teacher Position at Shannen School | Kapurai in Vadodara
Shannen School | Kapurai in Vadodara seeks a dedicated PGT Zoology Teacher to join their biology department. The role involves designing and delivering advanced-level Zoology lessons, fostering scientific curiosity among students while aligning with the school’s academic standards.
Teaching responsibilities include planning and conducting lectures, practical sessions, and field studies in Zoology. You will also assess student performance through exams, projects, and continuous evaluation, ensuring a balanced curriculum that meets CBSE/State Board guidelines. Collaborating with the biology faculty to integrate interdisciplinary learning will be part of your role, particularly in topics like animal physiology, ecology, and biodiversity.
Preparing and grading assignments, conducting lab demonstrations, and maintaining lab resources are essential duties. You will also mentor students, encourage research-based learning, and stay updated on emerging trends in Zoology education to enhance classroom engagement.
Qualified candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of relevant teaching experience at the senior secondary or equivalent level is preferred. A valid TET/CTET certificate is not mandatory but will be an advantage.
