Job Description
PRT Computer Science Teacher Responsibilities
Teach fundamental concepts of Computer Science to students in Class 6 to Class 8 at Shannen World School. Ensure alignment with the curriculum while adapting lessons to engage diverse learning levels.
Design and deliver hands-on coding workshops, including Python and basic programming languages, to build practical skills. Use interactive tools and real-world examples to make concepts relatable.
Assist in evaluating student performance through regular assessments, quizzes, and project-based evaluations. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and problem-solving abilities.
Collaborate with the Computer Science faculty to develop and refine lesson plans, ensuring consistency and progress in student learning outcomes.
Prepare and maintain updated teaching resources, including worksheets, slides, and digital materials, to support classroom instruction.
Eligibility and Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for the PRT role.
Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Computer Science or a technical subject, is essential. Familiarity with educational technology tools is a plus.
Salary for this full-time position is Rs.14,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. The role is based in Vadodara, Gujarat, and requires a commitment to teaching in a school environment.
