Job Description
Responsibilities
The PRT Hindi Teacher will plan and deliver Hindi lessons for classes up to senior secondary, following the state curriculum and school timetable. Classroom management, regular assessment of student progress and timely feedback to parents are essential. The teacher will coordinate with senior staff for co‑curricular activities and maintain accurate attendance and grade records.
Teaching Standards
Shannen School expects the teacher to maintain a high level of subject proficiency and use interactive methods to enhance language skills. Lesson plans must be prepared in advance, aligned with the prescribed syllabus, and updated regularly. The teacher should foster a respectful, inclusive environment and encourage students to develop both spoken and written Hindi.
Professional Conduct
Punctuality, proper dress code and adherence to the school’s code of conduct are mandatory. The teacher must participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events as required. Confidentiality of student information and collaboration with colleagues are also expected.
Qualifications
A graduate degree in any discipline is required, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification preferred. Candidates should have at least three years of teaching experience in Hindi at the school level. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, it is considered an advantage.
Salary
The monthly remuneration for this full‑time position ranges from Rs.15,000 to Rs.28,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
