Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Sanskrit lessons for classes IX to XII, aligning with the state curriculum and school standards. Foster a love for classical language and literature through interactive activities, storytelling, and project work. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help learners improve. Coordinate with senior faculty for interdisciplinary initiatives and participate in school events and cultural programs.
Requirements
Post‑graduate degree in Sanskrit or related field with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling TGT level classes. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in both Sanskrit and English, and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Passion for preserving cultural heritage through education.
Preferred Skills
Ability to integrate technology into lessons, such as using digital resources for grammar and chant practice. Experience organizing Sanskrit debates, recitations, and cultural festivals. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with pedagogical trends.
