The role also involves mentoring students in dance competitions and cultural events, reinforcing the school’s commitment to extracurricular excellence.
Core duties include lesson planning for grades 6 to 12, adapting teaching methods to engage diverse learning styles. Weekly assessments and progress tracking will ensure students meet academic and skill-based milestones. Participation in school-wide festivals and inter-school competitions is expected. The teacher will also assist in organizing dance camps and workshops to extend learning beyond the classroom.
Qualified candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with at least three years of teaching experience. A strong background in dance pedagogy, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in arts education, is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. Practical experience in teaching dance to children is essential.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.45,000 per month, along with benefits tailored to support a balanced lifestyle in the region. The role is based in Vapi, with occasional travel to Valsad for events and training sessions.
