The reality of this role
This is a full-time TGT Science Teacher position at Career Defence School in Ambala Cantt. You will handle classes from VI to X, covering Physics, Chemistry and Biology as per CBSE curriculum. Expect 5-6 teaching periods daily with additional lab sessions and student assessments.
What you will actually do
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with NCERT and school academic calendar. Conduct interactive Science demonstrations in well-equipped labs to make concepts clear. Grade notebooks and assignments every week and maintain accurate records. Organize monthly Science quizzes and practical tests for middle and senior sections. Attend staff meetings and contribute to school science exhibitions and competitions. Assist in organizing field trips to nearby science centers when planned. Provide remedial coaching for students needing extra help in Science.
Who can do this job
You must have a postgraduate degree in Science with B.Ed. D.El.Ed is acceptable for Science teaching roles. Prior experience of at least three years in a similar school environment is required. TET or CTET is not mandatory but will be considered an advantage.

Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Biology up to class X level. Ability to explain complex ideas in simple language for students aged 11-16.
