Classroom Profile
The PGT Biology Teacher will be responsible for teaching Biology to students in grades 9-12. The classroom environment will be lively and engaging, with a focus on interactive learning and hands-on experiments. The teacher will be expected to create a safe and inclusive space for students to explore and learn.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
2. Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate complex biological concepts.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure their growth.
4. Foster a love for learning in students by making Biology relevant and interesting.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Biology with other subjects.
6. Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student learning.
7. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Required Qualifications
* B.Ed./D.El.Ed. with a specialization in Biology.
* CTET/TET preferred but not mandatory.
* A strong academic background in Biology, with a postgraduate degree (M.Sc./M.A. in Biology).
* A minimum of 3 years of experience as a PGT Biology Teacher in a reputable school.
Preferred Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to think creatively and develop innovative lesson plans.
* Strong passion for Biology and a commitment to making it engaging for students.
* Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.45,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience. Additionally, the candidate will be entitled to a range of benefits, including medical insurance, paid leaves, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
