Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on best practices. Support students with language difficulties through one-on-one guidance or small-group interventions.
Periodic Responsibilities
Organize cultural or literary events, such as poetry readings or drama performances, to enrich students’ appreciation of the language. Participate in parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance and areas for improvement. Review and update teaching resources, including textbooks and supplementary materials, to ensure relevance and quality.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree. Possess a graduate degree in English or a related field. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in English or language education, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly valued.
