Day-to-Day Duties

The PGT Business Studies Teacher will be responsible for:

* Developing and implementing the Business Studies curriculum for classes 11 and 12, aligning with the CBSE guidelines
* Conducting lectures, workshops, and tutorials for students, ensuring engaging and interactive learning experiences
* Mentoring and guiding junior staff members, providing coaching and support for their professional growth
* Coordinating with the Vice Principal and other senior staff members to achieve departmental and institutional objectives
* Analyzing and evaluating student performance, identifying areas of improvement, and developing strategies to enhance learning outcomes
* Participating in school events, such as parent-teacher meetings, career counseling sessions, and academic competitions
* Collaborating with the Business Studies department to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results
* Participating in school committees, such as the Academic Planning Committee and the Staff Development Committee

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

* A postgraduate degree in Business Studies or a related field
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with at least 5 years of teaching experience
* NET or SET qualification is preferred, but not mandatory
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior staff members
* Proven track record of academic achievement and leadership in a school setting
