Daily responsibilities include preparing engaging lesson plans for Political Science, delivering interactive classroom sessions covering topics like Indian governance, comparative politics, and global politics. You will also conduct weekly assessments to evaluate student understanding, ensuring concepts are reinforced through practical examples and discussions. Daily attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining a structured curriculum.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve designing unit-wise syllabus alignments and integrating current affairs into teaching to keep students informed about political developments. You will also collaborate with Euro International School’s curriculum team to refine teaching methodologies and ensure alignment with CBSE guidelines. Regular parent-teacher interactions will be part of your role to discuss student progress and address concerns.
Periodic responsibilities include organizing guest lectures by eminent political scientists or scholars, and coordinating with the school’s extracurricular committee to promote political awareness through debates, model elections, or workshops. You may also be involved in reviewing textbooks and educational resources to ensure their relevance and accuracy.
To qualify for this PGT Political Science Teacher position, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline with at least three years of teaching experience.
