Role Summary
Sudha Rustagi College Of Dental Sciences & Research invites applications for the post of PROFESSOR - Physiology in the Department of Physiology. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Physiology to undergraduate students in the B.D.S. programme.
- Conduct tutorials and demonstrations for undergraduate students.
- Teach Physiology to postgraduate students in the M.D. programme.
- Conduct seminars and group discussions for postgraduate students.
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects.
- Develop and implement curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Attend departmental meetings and participate in academic planning.
- Supervise laboratory work and practical sessions for undergraduate students.

Postgraduate Students
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and provide necessary guidance and support.
- Conduct viva voce for postgraduate students.
- Evaluate and assess postgraduate students' research projects.
- Provide necessary facilities and resources for postgraduate students to conduct their research projects.

Eligibility Criteria
- A Ph.D. degree in Physiology with 55% marks is mandatory.
- NET/SLET qualified candidates with a Ph.D. degree in Physiology are also eligible.
- Candidates with publications in peer-reviewed journals are preferred.
- Experience in teaching and research in a university or college is essential.

Career Opportunities
- Assistant Professors with a Ph.D. degree can be promoted to the post of Associate Professor after 5 years of service.
- Associate Professors with a Ph.D. degree can be promoted to the post of Professor after 5 years of service.
- Candidates with a good API score can be considered for promotion and career advancement.
