The teacher will plan activities that make reading, writing, and speaking enjoyable while maintaining classroom discipline.
What You Will Do
Teach English grammar, vocabulary, and literature to classes 1 to 5 using age-appropriate methods.
Prepare lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines and Dav Public School’s curriculum.
Conduct regular assessments through quizzes, projects, and simple tests to track progress.
Organize reading circles and storytelling sessions to improve listening and speaking skills.
Use flashcards, rhymes, and visual aids to make lessons interactive and fun.
Collaborate with PRTs in other subjects to plan cross-curricular English activities.
Attend staff meetings and parent-teacher interactions to share student progress.
Who Can Apply
Graduate in English or related field with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary English. Familiarity with CBSE pattern preferred. TET/CTET certification is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates from Delhi-NCR with local school experience will be given preference.
