Teaching fundamental music theory, instruments, and performance skills to students across grades, ensuring age-appropriate learning methods. Designing and implementing creative lesson plans that blend traditional and contemporary musical elements, tailored to G.d. Goenka Public School’s emphasis on holistic development.
Incorporating music into co-curricular activities like school fests, cultural events, and extracurricular programs to foster teamwork and artistic expression. Assisting in school choirs, orchestras, or ensembles, guiding students in group performances and maintaining high standards of musical excellence.
Maintaining a well-organized music room, equipping it with necessary instruments and resources to support teaching and learning. Participating in school-wide initiatives such as music festivals, competitions, and parent-teacher interactions to promote a positive learning environment.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a strong foundation in music. Possess a valid Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate, though not mandatory for this role. Experience in teaching music to children aged 5 to 12 years is highly desirable, with at least two years of relevant classroom experience.
Compensation and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
