Role Summary
Vrinda International School is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PRT Social Science Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team in Faridabad, Haryana. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from class VI to X. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students from class VI to X.
2. Prepare and administer assessments and evaluations to measure student progress.
3. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
4. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
5. Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning.
6. Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
8. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Valid TET or CTET certification
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong subject matter expertise in Social Science
Good to Have:
- Master's degree in Social Science or related field
- Experience teaching in an international or bilingual school environment
- Familiarity with curriculum design and development
- Strong knowledge of educational technology and its applications
