Job Overview
Sudha Rustagi College Of Dental Sciences & Research invites applications for the position of SENIOR RESIDENT - Oral Surgery in Faridabad, Haryana. This is a leadership role in the department, requiring extensive clinical and academic experience in oral surgery. The candidate will play a key role in shaping departmental policies, mentoring junior faculty, and ensuring high standards of patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement advanced oral surgery curriculum aligned with UGC guidelines. Coordinate with faculty to integrate latest surgical techniques and technologies in teaching. Oversee examination processes including paper setting, evaluation, and moderation for theory and practical assessments.
Mentor junior faculty members in clinical and academic domains, conduct regular feedback sessions, and support their professional growth. Collaborate with the department head to plan academic calendars, workshops, and continuing education programs. Ensure compliance with NMC guidelines in all clinical training activities.
Lead research initiatives in oral surgery, guide postgraduate students in dissertation work, and encourage publication in UGC-CARE indexed journals. Organize departmental seminars, case discussions, and interdisciplinary research meetings to foster academic excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
Ph.D. in Oral Surgery or a closely related field with a minimum of 8 years of teaching and clinical experience. Candidates with prior experience as Associate Professor or Professor in Oral Surgery will be preferred. Master’s degree in Oral Surgery with 55% or above and 10 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
Research & Publications
Guide Ph.D. and postgraduate students in their research projects, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and academic rigor. Encourage publication in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals including those recognized by UGC-CARE. Promote interdisciplinary research collaborations within the institution and with external partners.
Learning and Development
Prepare for leadership roles such as Head of Department or Dean through structured mentorship and departmental engagement. Participate in institutional committees related to curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and strategic planning. Contribute to policy-making for academic and clinical standards in line with national benchmarks.

The compensation package is commensurate with experience and qualifications, with no bar for deserving candidates.
