St. Columbus School invites applications for the position of TGT Biology Teacher. This role is designed for an experienced educator who can lead Biology teaching for middle and senior secondary classes. The Biology Teacher Job in Faridabad will work closely with the Science department to strengthen academic outcomes and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Biology lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum and NCERT guidelines for TGT classes. Prepare students thoroughly for board exams with structured revision sessions and practice papers. Guide students in science projects, lab work, and participation in inter-school competitions. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student progress, and assessment data. Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular Science initiatives and STEM activities. Organize field visits, guest lectures, and workshops to enhance practical understanding of Biology concepts. Provide remedial support to students facing challenges in Biology and monitor their improvement. Mentor junior faculty and contribute to departmental planning and resource development.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Biology or Life Sciences from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification mandatory for Biology Teacher Recruitment in Haryana. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Biology at TGT level. TET or CTET qualification preferred for Biology Teaching Job in Faridabad, Faridabad. Strong knowledge of CBSE syllabus and assessment patterns required. Experience with classroom technology and digital teaching tools is an advantage.
