Job Description
Millennium World School in Faridabad seeks an experienced TGT Sanskrit Teacher to inspire students with the rich heritage of classical Indian literature and language. This full-time role involves teaching Sanskrit to students in grades 6 to 12, fostering cultural appreciation through Vedic texts, grammar, and classical poetry. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for preserving and teaching Sanskrit while aligning with modern educational best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach Sanskrit language, grammar, and literature to students in grades 6 to 12 with clarity and depth.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that integrate Vedic traditions with contemporary learning methods.
3. Assess student progress through regular evaluations, ensuring comprehension of classical texts and linguistic concepts.
4. Collaborate with the curriculum team to incorporate Sanskrit studies into broader academic programs.
5. Encourage extracurricular activities like recitation, debate, and cultural events centered on Sanskrit heritage.
6. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in line with school policies.
7. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills.
8. Guide students in understanding the philosophical and ethical dimensions of Sanskrit literature.
To qualify, a candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience in Sanskrit or a relevant subject is preferred, though not mandatory. A TET/CTET certificate is beneficial but not mandatory for this role.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, along with a supportive environment in Faridabad, Haryana.
