TGT Social Science Teacher Position at St. Peters Convent School, Faridabad
St. Peters Convent School in Faridabad seeks a dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to join its vibrant academic team. This role focuses on delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in history, geography, civics, and economics, tailored to students in classes 9 to 12. The teacher will play a key role in shaping young minds with a strong foundation in social sciences, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
The teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing lesson plans that align with the CBSE syllabus while encouraging interactive learning. Daily classroom instruction, student engagement, and assessment will be central to this role. The teacher will also participate in extracurricular activities, such as debates, project work, and field trips, to enhance students’ understanding of social concepts.
Reporting to the Social Science Department Head, the teacher will collaborate with colleagues to ensure cohesive teaching strategies and support student development.
To qualify, a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. Two years of teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly advantageous for this position.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, along with a location in Faridabad, Haryana. The role offers a full-time commitment with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive educational environment.
