What You Will Do
1. Prepare and manage the school's budget, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
4. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
5. Manage cash flow, including cash receipts and payments.
6. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
7. Prepare financial reports for the school's management and governing body.
8. Perform other financial duties as required.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you should have a post-graduate degree in Commerce or a related field. You should also have at least three years of experience in accounting and financial management. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly accounting software, is essential. Knowledge of TET/CTET is not required for this non-teaching administrative role.
Preferred Skills
Experience with accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks, is highly desirable. Familiarity with financial management systems and knowledge of accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS, is also an advantage.
