Job Description
English Teacher Position at DPS International for IB MYP Program in Gurugram
Teach English as a core subject to students in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) at DPS International in Gurugram. This role focuses on delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons that align with the IB curriculum while nurturing critical thinking and communication skills.
Your daily tasks will include planning and delivering lessons across grades 6 to 10, incorporating a mix of grammar, literature, speaking, and writing. You’ll also assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, ensuring they meet IB MYP expectations. Collaboration with peers and cross-departmental teams will help refine teaching strategies and support student growth.
For this position, a postgraduate degree in English or a related field is required. While TET/CTET isn’t mandatory, a strong foundation in English pedagogy and experience in teaching at the MYP level will be highly valued. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar curriculum or international school setting, would be beneficial.
The role offers a competitive salary of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, globally minded environment. Gurugram provides a vibrant urban setting with excellent resources for professional development and personal growth.
