Seeking an experienced Physics Teacher for DPS International’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme in Gurugram
DPS International, a premier co-educational institution in Gurugram, is looking for a passionate Physics Teacher to join its IB programme. The role involves teaching students from Grade 6 to 12, aligning with the rigorous IB curriculum while fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities
Teach Physics across IB curriculum levels, ensuring alignment with the International Baccalaureate’s standards and assessment criteria. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that integrate real-world applications of physics concepts. Assess student progress through continuous evaluation, including formative and summative assessments, while providing constructive feedback. Collaborate with the IB faculty to design interdisciplinary projects that enhance cross-curricular learning. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and technology-enhanced classroom environment. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on teaching methodologies and educational trends.
Qualifications
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physics or a related field with a strong academic background. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for teaching roles. Experience in teaching Physics at the secondary level is highly valued, though not mandatory. A teaching license such as TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
Experience
Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school environment with a focus on Physics. Experience in implementing IB curriculum standards or similar international educational frameworks is a plus. Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning needs and maintain high academic standards.
Salary and Employment
