Collaborate with lab technicians to ensure proper functioning of hardware and software resources.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that incorporate emerging technologies like AI and cloud computing. Assess student performance through quizzes, projects, and exams while maintaining a supportive learning atmosphere. Attend faculty meetings to discuss curriculum updates and teaching strategies. Participate in school events, such as tech fairs or coding competitions, to promote Computer Science interests.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with the principal and head of the Computer Science department on departmental goals and resource allocation. Conduct parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress in Computer Science. Ensure compliance with school policies on cyber safety and digital ethics.
To qualify, a candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in Computer Science or a technical subject, is mandatory.
