PGT Geography Teacher Position at Shalom Hills International School, Gurgaon
Shalom Hills International School in Gurgaon seeks a dedicated PGT Geography Teacher to lead geography education for senior students. This role focuses on delivering advanced curriculum, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for competitive exams. The successful candidate will design engaging lessons that align with the latest syllabus while incorporating real-world applications of geographical concepts.
The Geography PGT will conduct in-depth classroom instruction, focusing on topics like physical geography, human-environment interactions, and regional studies. Experience in teaching geography at the post-graduate level or equivalent is essential. The role also includes preparing students for entrance exams, including those for geography-specific roles in universities or research institutions.
A strong background in geography research, fieldwork, and modern teaching methodologies is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a passion for shaping students’ understanding of global challenges and sustainable development. Four years of relevant teaching experience in geography is mandatory.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. No TET/CTET is required for this position. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month.
