Pathways School | Gurgaon seeks an experienced PGT Physical Education Teacher to lead dynamic sports and fitness programs for students. Daily responsibilities include planning and conducting daily physical activities, ensuring students engage in structured sports drills, games, and fitness routines. You will supervise morning and afternoon physical education sessions, maintaining discipline while fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Daily attendance at school events and sports-related activities is essential to keep students motivated and engaged.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve designing and implementing term-based sports programs, including track and field events, team sports, and fitness challenges. You will assess student performance, provide feedback, and collaborate with the school’s sports committee to organize inter-house competitions and extracurricular events. Ensuring compliance with school policies on sports safety and equipment management is also part of your ongoing duties.
Periodic responsibilities include preparing annual sports curriculum plans, attending teacher training workshops on innovative PE techniques, and reviewing student progress to identify areas for improvement. You will also coordinate with external coaches for specialized training sessions and ensure all sports facilities are well-maintained and accessible.
For this PGT Physical Education Teacher position, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, along with at least four years of teaching experience in Physical Education. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
