Mount St. Mary School seeks a PRT Art And Craft Teacher to inspire creativity in students across grades. The role involves planning and delivering engaging art lessons, guiding craft projects, and integrating visual arts into the broader curriculum. Responsibilities
Design lesson plans that align with state standards and foster critical thinking through art and craft.
Guide students in using diverse media, from clay and paper to digital tools, ensuring safety and proper technique.
Assess student progress through portfolio reviews and project presentations, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with other teachers to incorporate art into interdisciplinary projects and school events.
Maintain an organized classroom environment, manage art supplies, and oversee the upkeep of the art studio.
Encourage participation in school exhibitions and local art competitions, representing Mount St. Mary School with pride.
Qualification
Graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary art practices and traditional craft techniques.
Strong communication skills in English and Hindi to interact with students and parents effectively.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably within a PRT framework.
Experience with project‑based learning and student portfolio development is highly valued.
Track record of organizing art displays or exhibitions within the school community.
Compensation
Rs.18,000 – Rs.32,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
