About This Role
The Scottish High School invites applications for the PRT Art And Craft Teacher Vacancy in Gurugram. Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct weekly Art And Craft Teacher Job in Gurugram sessions for Classes 1 to 5.
Prepare low-cost, high-impact teaching materials using recycled and local resources.
Assess student work through simple rubrics and provide verbal feedback.
Organize classroom displays and manage an art corner with rotating themes.
Collaborate with other PRTs to integrate art across subjects like EVS and Math.
Maintain a clean, organized art room with safe storage of materials.
Communicate progress to parents during PTMs using visual samples.
Attend staff meetings and contribute ideas for school art exhibitions.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Art And Craft in primary schools.
Familiarity with CBSE art curriculum and activity-based learning.
Good to Have
CTET or TET qualified.
Experience at The Scottish High School or similar CBSE schools in Gurugram.
Portfolio of student art projects or lesson plans.
Knowledge of digital art tools for elementary levels.
Preferred Skills
Hand-on skills in drawing, painting, origami, clay modeling, and craft work.
Ability to teach both traditional and contemporary art forms.
Strong classroom management with young learners.
Basic Hindi and English communication for instructions and feedback.
Salary and Benefits
