Role Summary
The Scottish High School, a leading co-educational school in Gurugram, Haryana, is looking for a PRT Evs Teacher to join our academic team. As a PRT Evs Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Environmental Studies to students from classes VI to X.
Pedagogy and Tools
We use technology to enhance learning at The Scottish High School. Our classrooms are equipped with smart boards and we use Google Classroom and Learning Management System (LMS) for blended learning. As a PRT Evs Teacher, you will be expected to use these tools to create engaging lessons and assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons on Environmental Studies to classes VI to X
- Use smart boards, Google Classroom, and LMS to create interactive lessons
- Develop assessments and projects to evaluate student learning
- Use digital tools to track student progress and identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate with other teachers to design curriculum and assessments
- Provide feedback to students on their performance
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Participate in school events and activities related to Environmental Studies
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Environmental Studies and incorporate them into your teaching
Required Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in Science or Environmental Studies from a recognized university is essential. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is also required. CTET or TET is preferred but not essential.
