PRT Physical Education Teacher Position at K.r. Mangalam World School, Gurugram
K.r. Mangalam World School in Gurugram seeks a dedicated PRT Physical Education Teacher to inspire and develop students’ athletic skills while fostering a healthy, active lifestyle. This full-time role focuses on delivering engaging PE classes and maintaining a vibrant extracurricular sports program. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for sports, teamwork, and a passion for youth development.
Core Responsibilities
Design and conduct age-appropriate Physical Education lessons covering fundamental sports skills, fitness routines, and team dynamics. Ensure compliance with school safety protocols during outdoor activities and sports events. Monitor student participation, motivation, and progress in sports-related activities. Organize and lead school sports competitions, tournaments, and inter-house events to promote team spirit.
Additional Duties
Assist in planning and implementing the annual sports festival, including event coordination and logistics. Collaborate with the school’s sports coordinator to update and maintain equipment inventory and storage. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance in PE and sports activities. Represent the school at local sports clubs or competitions when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a background in Physical Education. Possess a graduate degree in a relevant field. Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education or related subjects. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is preferred but not mandatory. Salary offered is Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
