Amity International School | Gurgaon seeks a dedicated PRT Sanskrit Teacher to enrich the academic curriculum with classical Indian language studies. This role is part of a well-established K-12 school environment, where Sanskrit teaching aligns with modern educational frameworks while preserving cultural heritage.
The PRT Sanskrit Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across grades, blending traditional grammar, literature, and cultural context. Classroom time may include structured periods for grammar exercises, Vedic chanting, and storytelling, complemented by interactive group discussions. The teacher will also prepare students for board exams, ensuring alignment with Haryana’s curriculum standards.
Qualifications for this PRT Sanskrit Teacher position include a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a focus on Sanskrit. A graduate degree in Sanskrit or related humanities is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of teaching experience, ideally in a school setting. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career progression.
The PRT Sanskrit Teacher will collaborate with subject coordinators to integrate Sanskrit into broader interdisciplinary projects. Assessments will focus on oral proficiency, written composition, and performance-based evaluations, including Vedic recitation and critical analysis of texts. The role emphasizes fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment where students explore Sanskrit’s role in contemporary education.
